Philosophy |
|
Our approach is very individualistic and we use a wide range of
interventions depending on where the client is on his/her journey.
One of our highest values in working with someone is our
respect for their own process. We see our role as one that offers
support as well as challenge with appropriate timing. When a
client is ready, we enjoy guiding them to understand patterns
that they learned in their family of origin. Helping them to
identify, express, and release feelings about the wounding they
experienced in order to stop unhealthy patterns in the present..
Our ultimate hope is to encourage in ways that move people
closer to Christ.
We specialize in deep work with those who have experienced
early loss, neglect, or trauma. We provide the safety and nurture
necessary to explore painful family of origin issues that may
continue to hinder individuals from living a fulfilled life. In
addition, our experience in the area of substance abuse helps us to
assist those struggling with addictive behaviors. We use
experiential therapy in group, marital and family therapy.
