Clinical Supervision Program

Our experienced therapists and clinical supervisors are passionate about teaching counselors from their experience and training. In addition, supervision groups for varying levels of Internal Family Systems (IFS) knowledge are offered to deepen your understanding and practice of the model. (IFS group consultation may count towards certification as an IFS therapist.) Groups with a specific focus combined with IFS are also provided.

In a small group setting, we strive to create safety for clinicians to explore the intersection of their parts that may arise in practice. We learn more deeply in a safe group setting and application to our own stories.

New groups will be forming in January 2023. If you have questions or specific topics you would want to study, please contact Carol Hollandsworth at carol@bareitercc.com.

Consultation and supervision do not qualify for NBCC credit.

Carol offers group supervision for deepening IFS learning and application.  These groups are available to licensed clinicians.  The introductory group is open to clinicians in Associate status of licensure. Currently, two groups are being offered:

  • The introductory group meets monthly for two hours to learn about the model and how to use it with clients - this group is for beginners, including those who have completed Level I of the IFS training through the IFS Institute.
  • The Advanced group will meet monthly or every other month based on the group’s desire for two hours to discuss deepening your understanding and application of the IFS model of therapy.  We may discuss specific topics or discuss questions group members may have from their cases.
